Move with us

Whether you want to learn a new skill, teach a new friend your favorite hula hoop trick, or juggle fire clubs on a slackline – it’s all encouraged during our MOVE Interlaken meetings. Feel free to bring your yoga mat, flow art prop, aerial silks, or anything else that adds to the fun. Skill sharing plays a big role in our community, so come ready to learn something new and don’t be shy about the skills you want to share with others.

What we practice

Poi

Poi is an expressive art form blending dance and object manipulation, featuring fluid movements with tethered weights, creating captivating visual displays.

Hoop

Hoop is an artistic performance involving fluid movements and tricks with a circular object, showcasing grace, skill, and creativity in mesmerizing displays.

Juggling

Juggling is an art of skillful manipulation, showcasing dexterity and coordination by tossing and catching multiple objects in captivating, rhythmic patterns and sequences

Contact staff

Contact staff is an artistic discipline involving intricate maneuvers and body movement, manipulating a staff in contact with the body, showcasing grace, control, and visual spectacle.

AcroYoga/Partner Acrobatics

AcroYoga blends acrobatics and yoga, fostering trust and connection through partner-based poses, balances, and sequences, promoting strength, flexibility, and unity.

Slackline/Highline

Slacklining is an art of balance, traversing a taut, flexible line, showcasing focus, agility, and control, often performed in natural settings, combining athleticism with mindfulness

Aerial silk

Aerial silk, a captivating aerial art, involves performers showcasing strength and grace while executing acrobatic maneuvers on suspended fabric, creating breathtaking displays of flexibility and aerial beauty.
